TurboKast BankClean for Google Sheets
Last updated: October 21, 2026
TurboKast BankClean is a Google Sheets add-on made by TurboKast Ltd. It cleans the CSV files exported from many UK banks into one table in your spreadsheet, maps each transaction to a Self Assessment box, and totals them for each UK tax year (6 April to 5 April).
What it does
- Reads bank CSV exports with different column layouts and puts them into one consistent table.
- Maps transactions to Self Assessment boxes: SA103F (self-employment) and SA105 (UK property).
- Uses keyword rules that you can edit, so you decide which transactions go in which box.
- Builds a summary with totals for each UK tax year, 6 April to 5 April.
How to use it
- In Google Sheets, choose Extensions > BankClean > Open BankClean.
- In the sidebar, choose a CSV file exported from your bank.
- Review the cleaned transactions and the boxes they were mapped to.
- Edit the keyword rules if a transaction is in the wrong box.
- Build the summary to get your totals for each tax year.
