Privacy policy: TurboKast apps, watch faces, plugins and Plainfiles
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy covers the products TurboKast Ltd sells through other companies' stores: Wear OS watch faces on Google Play, WordPress plugins, the Skep app (which also has its own page at turbokast.com/skep/privacy ) and Plainfiles document kits sold on Etsy. Our multi-streaming service has its own policy at turbokast.com/privacy .
TurboKast BankClean, a Google Sheets add-on, is covered in its own section below.
Who we are. TurboKast Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (SC881077), 29 Commercial Street, Dundee, DD1 3DG, United Kingdom. Plainfiles is a trading name of TurboKast Ltd. Contact us through turbokast.com/contact .
Watch faces (Wear OS)
Our watch faces collect no personal data. They run entirely on your watch, have no code that connects to the internet, and contain no analytics or advertising. Any information a face shows, such as steps or heart rate, is read on the watch by Wear OS and never leaves it through us. Purchases are handled by Google Play; Google's privacy policy applies to them, and we receive only the sales reports Google gives every developer.
WordPress plugins
Our plugins run on your own website. Settings and logs are stored in your WordPress database, and emails are sent by your site. TurboKast Ltd receives nothing from your site. Where a plugin checks plugin information (for example TurboKast Update Digest), it sends only plugin names (slugs) to api.wordpress.org, whose privacy policy applies. If a plugin offers a paid upgrade, checkout is run by Freemius as the seller of record, and their privacy policy applies to that purchase.
Plainfiles kits on Etsy
Etsy runs the shop and the checkout. Etsy shares with us the order details it shares with every seller (such as your name, Etsy username, email address or order messages) so we can deliver and support your order. We use them only for that, keep them only as long as needed for the order, our accounts and tax records (normally 6 years, as UK law requires), and never sell them or use them for marketing without your agreement. The kits themselves are files that collect nothing.
Skep (iPhone)
Skep stores everything on your device and sends nothing to us. See turbokast.com/skep/privacy .
TurboKast BankClean (Google Sheets add-on)
What it accesses. BankClean accesses only the spreadsheet you have open, using Google's current-document permission, and shows a sidebar in it. It cannot see your other files.
Your transaction data. The transactions you load stay in your spreadsheet. TurboKast does not receive, copy, store, analyse or sell them. BankClean uses no TurboKast servers, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party sharing, and it makes no network requests.
Files you choose. A CSV file you choose in the sidebar is read in your browser and written only into that spreadsheet.
Licence key. If you buy BankClean Pro, your licence key is stored in Apps Script user properties for your Google user and checked locally. It is not sent to Payhip or to anyone else.
Purchases. Pro keys are sold through our Plainfiles store on Payhip, which is operated by TurboKast Ltd. Payhip handles the checkout under Payhip's privacy policy . TurboKast Ltd receives the sale record, which is the order details and your email address. We use it to deliver your key, give support and keep our accounts, and keep it for 6 years for tax records. Our lawful bases are contract and legal obligation.
Google API Services. BankClean's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy
Retention and deletion. Your transaction data is yours and stays in your spreadsheet: uninstall the add-on or delete the BankClean sheets to remove it. You can remove your saved licence key from the Licence panel in the sidebar. To have your sale record corrected or deleted where the law allows, email [email protected] .
Your rights. Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your sale record, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict our use of it or object to it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, through turbokast.com/contact . You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If a product starts handling personal data differently, we will update this page, and the store listing, before releasing that version.
